Storytelling: Getting To The Root – Loving Your Hair And Yourself

Cultural historians and artists Gilda Rogers and Candace Kelley, collectors of stories of womens’ struggles with hair, will share some of these stories and invite audience members to share theirs. Topics include the history of hair, the genetic make-up of black hair; harmful product ingredients, and healthy hair kitchen concoctions and products to touch and smell, and hair demos.
